Abraham Beate (1926–1943)
She was born on June 3, 1926 in Brandoberndorf, Germany, into the Orthodox family of merchant Ferdinand Abraham and Emma née Frank. She had four siblings: three brothers, Berthold, Bertram and Siegbert, and a sister, Edith Paula.
During the war she lived with her family at ul. Jekerstraat 5 in Amsterdam.
In June 1943, the Abraham family was arrested and then deported to the Westerbork transit camp. Beate, together with her parents and three siblings (Edith Paula, Bertram and Siegbert), were deported on July 20, 1943 to the Theresienstadt concentration camp and then to the Sobibór extermination camp. They died on July 23, 1943.
