17 May 1965: Mrs. Eva Marie Kessler, nee Miller, 64, Lebanon RD 20, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She had been ill for a number of years. She was the widow of Sherman Kessler and Allen P. Horst. Site was born in Cornwall, a daughter of the late Charles and Alice Sweeney Miller. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Cleona, and its Sunday school. She is survived by two children, Elizabeth M., wife of Randolph Shroyer, Lebanon RD 1, and David K. Horst, Lebanon. Five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ida Fisher, Lancaster, also survive. [Lebanon Daily News]
