Harold A. Peterson

Harold A. "Pete" Peterson, 77, of Tracy died Sunday in a Las Vegas hospital. He was born in Mesita, Colo. He lived in Tracy for 37 years.

Mr. Peterson owned Tracy Feed Supply and Mission Motel. He also worked for 10 years for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a protective service officer.

Mr. Peterson served in the Coast Guard during World War II.

He was a member of Mount Oso Masonic Lodge 480 and 363, Berkeley Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies of Stockton, Tracy Noon Rotary, Tracy Wildlife, Tracy Sportsman Club and the Civil War Skirmish Association.

He served on the board of directors for Clever Planetarium and Tracy Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Peterson was married for 49 years.

Survivors: wife, Geraldine Davis of Tracy; son, Eric Peterson of Beverly Hills; and sister, Helen Ost of Fox Island, Wash.

Services: 2 p.m. today, Mount Oso Masonic Lodge, Lowell and Tracy Boulevard. Visitation: none.

Inurnment: Tracy Public Cemetery.
