A native of Munjor and a former Hays resident, Henry Dechant, 78, died today at his home in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be at St. Anthony Church, Elizabeth Street, Kansas City. Dechant had been in failing health the past six years.
Survivors include the widow, Monica, three daughters and one son. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Vernon Moore and Mrs. Mike Arnold, both of Hays, and Isadore Brull of Victoria.
