"Mrs. Susan Gibson, aged 72, widow of George W. Gibson, died suddenly at the family residence in Parker township, near Bruin, at 7 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Surviving are five sons, Clarence W of Grove City; Roy of Hooker, Elgie L of Elkins, W. VA; Lester of Chicora and Herbert Gibson at home; four daughters Mrs. Stella Shook and Mrs. Lillian Christie of Butler, Mrs. Ruth Emmitt and Mrs. Elizabeth Matthews of Detroit, Mich; 22 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; six brothers, John and Louis of Butler, Richard of Wyoming, Joseph of West Sunbury, Samuel of Youngstown and Charles Ekis of Bruin, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Baker of Butler.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Bruin.
Funeral services will be held from the Knox Funeral Home in Bruin at 2:30 Friday afternoon. burial will be in the North Washington cemetery."
