Etta Clora Hall died on Monday, April 22, 2013. Etta was born on April 16, 1918, to Britt Thomas and Lula Lee Thomas in the East Caney Community of Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was one of seventeen children and was the fifth child. Both parents, three sisters, ten brothers, her husband, and one granddaughter preceded her in death. Etta was married to Eddie Lee Hall and to this union four children were born: Shelton, Joe Emerson, Jaunita, and Margie. She received her Christian education and secular education in the East Caney Community of Sulphur Springs, Texas. She and her immediate family moved to Kansas City in December 7, 1952. She worked in Housekeeping at General Hospital # 1 and 2. She was a member of Jackson Memorial Free Will Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Metropolitan Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother's Board and was a choir member until her health failed. Etta Clora Hall leaves to cherish her memories, four children in order of birth: Jaunita Warren, Shelton Hall (Sarah), Joe Emerson Hall (Carolyn), and Margie Johnson; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Eunice Finney of Dallas, Texas, Mary Undene Ross, and Billye Marie Lewis both of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services for Etta Clora Hall will be held on Saturday, April 27, 12:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 7106 Prospect.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at The Church. Interment, Floral Hills Cemetery.
