Mrs. Sims was born December 31, 1947 and was a daughter of the late Basil Lee Trotter and Virginia Ferrell Trotter . She attended Great Falls High School, retired from Hoechst Celanese in Rock Hill, and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Sims enjoyed painting and her passion was caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband of more than 44 years, Jesse J. Sims; two daughters, Tammy Dry and husband Michael of Ft. Lawn and Toni Dutton and husband Kevin of Blackstock; one son, Terry Sims and wife Danielle of Great Falls; six grandchildren, Phillip Dry and wife Megan, Zachary Dry, Candace Dry, Jessica Dutton, Hunter Dutton, and Anna Sims; two great-grandchildren, Arabella Dry and Kannon Dry; one brother, Tony Trotter and wife Crystal of Great Falls; one sister, Linda Amos of Great Falls; and a special niece Sherry Rinehart of Great Falls.
