Obituary (Madison (MO) Times, Jan. 23, 1913)- Mrs. Louisa S. Bennett died at her home, near Ash, Friday morning, of cardiac dropsy. Mrs. Bennett was 85 years old and had been in failing health for some months. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lilly and was born in Kentucky. She is survived by four children, her husband having died some years ago. The children are Mrs. P. W. Huston, Mrs. J. D. Alexander, James and George Bennett. Mrs. Bennett had been a faithful member of the Baptist church for many years and her life is a precious heritage to the loved ones who looked to her for counsel and guidance. She was loved by all who knew her and her death brings sorrow to many hearts. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. A. Jones at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, after which burial was made in the Ash cemetery.
