DEWAR -- Iva Mae Ackerman, 92, formerly of 1752 North Raymond Road, Dewar, died Wednesday, December 22, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center of natural causes.
She was born June 4, 1901, in Black Hawk County, daughter of William and Daisy Graham Padget. She married Lewis Ackerman on December 20, 1920, in Waterloo. He died in 1948.
Mrs. Ackerman worked at Iowa Public Service for several years.
Survived by: two sons, Raymond and Robert, both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: her husband; a great-granddaughter; a brother; and two sisters.
Services: 1:30 p.m. today at Garden View Chapel, Waterloo, with burial in Mount Vernon Township Cemetery, rural Waterloo. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services today at the funeral home.
