Petition of the Heirs of Jacob Goodman, Deceased, for order of Partition or Valuation (Orphan's Court)
Petitioners: John Goodman, Peter Goodman, Amos Goodman, Michael Goodman, Reuben Goodman, Aaron Goodman, Israel Goodman, Lewis Goodman, Elizabeth who is intermarried with Daniel Miller, Mary who was intermarried with Joseph Wanner, Rebecca intermarried with John Hill and Esther Goodman, Heirs & Legal Representatives of Jacob Goodman, late of the Borough of Reading, Berks County, Wheelwright, deceased.
Respectfully represent that the said Jacob Goodman died on the 21st day of November AD 1844; intestate, seized in his demesne as of fee of the following Real Estate, [includes descriptions of 9 lots and parcels of land]. No partition or valuation of said estate having been had, the petitioners pray the court to order and appoint William Arnold, Henry Schoener, John Kutz, Adam Johnston, Henry Henritze, William Rapp, Anthony Bickel, mutually chosen by the petitioners for that purpose to make partition or valuations of the said premises according to the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided - and to make report of their proceedings herein at the next stated Orphans Court after they shall so have valued or appraised the same.
