Funeral services for Augusta Strobel, 89, of Antigo, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Rev. Randall Neal will officiate.
Mrs. Strobel died Wednesday at Eastview Manor.
Born Jan. 29, 1897 in the Town of Vilas, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weisshan. She married John Strobel Sept. 14, 1921 in Gleason. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 1979.
Mrs. Strobel lived in the towns of Vilas and Summit prior to moving to Antigo in 1943.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the church Ladies Aid.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Zaitz of Sussex, Jean Grabowsky of Oak View, Calif., and Alice James of Fairfield, Calif.; two sons, Donald and Dellmar, both of Antigo; 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
