Funeral services for B.D. Yancey, 72, who died at a local hospital Saturday night after an extended illness, where held at 5 p.m. yesterday at the Allendale Baptist Church in Allentown where he was a member and deacon of that church.

Mr. Yancey came to Macon a month ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Grant Collier, 122 First Street. He was born in North Georgia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Collier and Mrs. M.G. Kelly of Louvale; four sons, George Yancey, Macon, Leo Yancey, Talbotton, Tom Yancey, Dublin and Hall Yancey, Montrose; two sisters, Mrs. R.N. Polk, Vidalia, and Mrs. Charlie Hilliard, Americus.
