Patricia Pipkin, 68, of Independence, passed away April 17th 2013.

A visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday April 21st at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W Lexington Ave. Independence. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 22nd at Country Meadows Baptist Church; 4901 Lee's Summit Rd. Kansas City, MO. Cremation to follow.

Pat was born May 13th 1944 in Plymouth, IN to Raleigh and Dorothy (Stiles) Rupert. Later, she married Harold Mlekodaj and together they had three children. After his passing she attended Appalachian Bible College in West Virginia where she achieved her Bachelor's degree.

Inspired by her lifetime of hardships and her faith in God she was called to be a world public speaker. She mainly spoke on themes surrounding faith and leaning on God through struggles. Pat inspired many women across the globe.

She later married Lester Pipkin whom she loved until his recent passing.

Pat traveled in missionary work to Panama, China, where she taught English, and Europe. She loved quilting, gardening, and especially her grandchildren. Pat is loved and will be missed.

She is survived by son, Wesley Mlekodaj and wife, Christy of New Mexico; daughter, Jessica Crossley and husband Aaron of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Abigail, Peter, Hannah, Corban, and Isabelle; brother, James Rupert of Michigan; and sister, Barbara Harness of Indiana.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Harold Mlekodaj and Lester Pipkin and her beloved daughter, Jackie Mlekodaj.
