Elizabeth Hannah Hocutt, 59, of Grenada, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Miss. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011, at the National Funeral Home in Grenada. Funeral Services are at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, in the chapel of National Funeral Home in Grenada. Burial will follow in Grenada Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Elizabeth was born on Dec. 20, 1951, in Grenada, to Thomas Ray Hannah and Martha Elizabeth Taylor Hannah. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. She was employed as a paper carrier for many years delivering The Daily Star.
She enjoyed many different hobbies and interests.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, John Hocutt Sr.; and her parents, Thomas Ray and Martha Elizabeth Hannah.
Survivors include her four daughters and their husbands, Vanessa and Daniel Jones of Brandon, Miss., Becky and Jason Jones, Monica and Joe Clendenon, all of Grenada, and C.C. and Dee Holmes of Lucedale, Miss.; two sisters, Martha Jane Adams of Grenada and Rachel B. Crocker of Duck Hill; two brothers, Eugene R. Hannah and James Spencer Killebrew, both of Grenada; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
