Gladys LaRue Baker, 88, of Saxton, PA, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1 AM at the Altoona Hospital.

Gladys was born in Aitch, PA on September 15, 1924, a daughter of the late Louella (Rhinard) and Blair Morningstar.

She was married to Earl Maxwell Baker who preceded her in death on November 2, 1989.

She was of the Methodist Faith and was primarily a homemaker

Gladys is survived by a daughter, Judy B. Baker, of Saxton, PA; and four sons Larry E. Baker, of Saxton, PA; Clair A. Baker, of Six Mile Run, PA; Curtis L. Baker, of Myrtle Beach, SC; Curtis Brown, of Bedford, PA;

Gladys is also survived by a sister, Betty Uttley, of Huntingdon, PA. and a brother, Lloyd Morningstar, of Alexandria, PA;

She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Johnson, and a grandson, Clair "Tubby" Baker.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 12-2 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc..

Funeral Services will be held at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City, PA. on Monday April 15, 2013 at 2 PM

Interment at Entriken Cemetery, Entriken, PA.
