Her birth record says she was born in Linstow, Mecklenburg, Germany, then Prussia. FaG does not know that place.
Iowa, Selected Deaths and Burials, 1850-1990 says she was born in Heidelburg, Germany (Prussia).
The family was named Siewert in Germany when she was born, but evidently her father "Adam" changed it to Sievert (how Siewert would have been pronounced in Germany).
