Died peacefully at Alexander Place, Waterdown, Ontario, Thursday, April 11, 2013, at age 89.
Born to Denton Massey and Ester (née Jeralds), in Boston, Massachusetts.

Elizabeth graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, in 1946.
Her nursing career straddled both Toronto and New York, before moving back to Ontario, to marry and settle in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Elizabeth was known for her tireless efforts working with children and established the Association for Children with Learning Disabilities in Canada. She was also a founding member of the K-W Art Gallery, and was actively involved in numerous charitable events in K-W throughout her married life.

Loved wife of the late Louis P. Breithaupt (2005); beloved mother of Louis M. (Anne), Timothy (Trish), and Gary; cherished grandmother of Lynn, Stephen, Michael, Louis Y., and Chloé, great- grandmother to Kaden, Quinn, Alexandra, and Taylor; and dear sister to Walter, and Marilyn.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Elizabeth with family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Service to celebrate her life at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Room, then interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
