LOUIS PAUL BREITHAUPT 1922 - 2005 Died peacefully at Luther Village, Waterloo, on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at age 82. Born to Louis O. and Sara, in Kitchener. He attended Queen's University where he became President of his year. He left in 1943 to join the R.C.A.F. and was discharged in 1945. Louis joined The Breithaupt Leather Company until sold in 1968. Louis was heavily involved in and recognized for his contribution in the following community organizations: the Kitchener Rotary Club, Kitchener Chamber of Commerce, Public School Board, Boy Scouts (Medal of Merit), Gyro, Flying Club, P.U.C., and Probus. Loving husband of Elizabeth Breithaupt; beloved father of Louis M., Timothy H., and Gary S.; cherished grandfather of Lynn, Stephen, Michael, Louis Y., and Chloe; dear brother of Sally Bastedo and Herbert Breithaupt. Predeceased by a sister Mary Cram. Friends are invited to share their memories of Louis with his family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, June 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Louis' life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. In memory of Louis, donations may be made to The Kid's Ability Foundation, (formerly the Rotary Children's Centre), and can be arranged through the funeral home.
