William Wiley Aust, age 97, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Abilene Regional Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

He was born July 6, 1915, to Jim William and Connie Louise (Reeves) Aust in Montague County, Texas.

He married Ester Mae Owen on July 9, 1938, in Ozark, AR, and later served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a heavy duty mechanic for Plains Machinery and retired after 24 years of service. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Odessa where for 25 years he served on the board of directors as well as was head usher for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ester, his daughter Delores, his son Eldon and sister Bessie Aust.

He is survived by his son Darry Leon Aust and wife, Kathy; daughters Barbara Jean Ross and husband Gaylord and Carolyn Gale Johnston and husband, Leon; sister Leta Mae Parrish; eleven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at First United Pentecostal Church.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
