The Maine Historical Magazine, 1891. Annals of the City of Bangor, Maine. By the Late Governor William D. Williamson, of Bangor, Maine. . . . Late in the fall, perhaps December [1786-7], while Mr. Noble was here, a vessel, on its way from this river to Boston, was wrecked on House Island [Maine], near that place, in the midst of a thick and cold snowstorm. Among those lost, were young Robert Treat, Sylvia Knapp, and Seth Noble the minister's [Rev. Seth Noble] oldest son, all of Bangor.
. . . . . . . . . .
Some researchers believe that Seth's place of birth should be listed as Maugerville, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada (yet one of those says Seth's place of birth should not be listed as New Brunswick). Other researchers say it should be Sheffield, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada. So since various researchers keep sending conflicting edits, Canada will remain as Seth's place of birth.

Seth's mother, Hannah Barker, is not linked below because her burial location is UNKNOWN and she has no known memorial stone.
