Dorothy "Dot" Craven, 84, of Fritch died on Thursday, July 12, 2012.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Bill Gehm officiating. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Craven was born on May 25, 1928 in Davilla, Texas to Joe and Clara Duncum. She had worked as a nurse at Northwest Texas Hospital, the VA Hospital, home healthcare and private nursing. We all loved her greatly and she will be terribly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Craven in 1993, and her daughter, Vicky Cargill from Thorndale, TX.

Survivors include three sons, Rick Craven of Amarillo, Mark Craven of Fritch and Chris Scott of Hobbs, NM; a brother, Gene Duncum of Sealy, TX and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
