Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Johnson Kuriappilly as celebrant.
Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with the Rosary by Christian Mothers beginning at 7:00 pm followed by the Parish Vigil. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Pollie was born to Paul and Elizabeth (Zerr) Ferderer in Mandan, ND on November 3, 1921. She was raised and educated in Mandan.
She married Theodore C. Ressler on November 13, 1945 in Mandan. She and her husband, Ted, owned the Ten Spot Bowling Lanes in Mandan. Pollie was a loving mother and grandmother to her four children and seven grandchildren. She was a generous, caring and kind person. She opened her house to all those who visited and made them feel warm and welcome. She was a source of happiness to her family making birthdays and holidays so very special. Pollie devoted her love so unselfishly as she cared for her mother.
Pollie and Ted were inseparable and thoroughly enjoyed spending their time with each other, as well as, with family and friends. Many special memories will be cherished by all forever.
Pollie will be deeply missed by her daughters, Mary (Gerald) Bernhardt, Bismarck, ND, Paula (Bill) Thovson, Watertown, SD; sons, Wayne Ressler, Bismarck, ND, Mike (Kathy) Ressler, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Shaylyn and Kyle Bernhardt, Alicia Paz, Ariana Thovson, Brandon Ressler, Ryan Ressler, Troy Ressler and great-grandchildren, Dominic and Alyssa Paz.
Pollie was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, who died in 2005; sisters, Lenore Ferderer, Perpetua Ferderer, Rose Scherr, Eva Ferderer, Betty Lintz, Margaret Mason; brothers, Jake, Christ, John and Mike.
