William E. Grant
Stanley, Apr. 2—William E. Grant, aged 83, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of his son, Clifford G. Grant in Waverly. He had gone to his son's home only about a month ago for a visit and was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage about a week later.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. F. E. Taylor of Binghamton and Mrs. F. J. Stout of Geneva; four sons, James E. of Goleta, Cal., W. Edward of Stanley, Clark A. of San Diego, Cal., and Clifford G. of Waverly, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from his home in Stanley. The Rev. David S. Sheldon of Caledonia, formerly pastor of Number Nine church, will officiate. Burial will be in Number Nine cemetery.
