Frances Julia Bruce, 84, of Rutland, died peacefully on April 15, 2013, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1929, in Hampton, N.Y., the daughter of Martin and Catherine (Sito) Bruce.
She graduated from West Rutland High School, and worked at the Rudolph Beaver Surgical Blade Company in Waltham, MA.
She was a gentle woman and lovingly cared for her aging Mother for many years.
Miss Bruce was predeceased by a sister, Stephanie Kehoe; and two brothers, John Bruce and Stanley Bruce.
She is survived by two nieces, Cheryl Casey of Needham, MA, and Patricia Kehoe of East Wallingford, VT; and three nephews, Michael Kehoe of Richmond, Utah, Thomas Kehoe of Columbia, South Carolina, and Terrence Kehoe of Phoenix, Arizona.
The memorial service will be held Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Tossing Funeral Home, with the Rev. Justin Baker, pastor of Christ the King Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
