Naomi was born in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1718 to John Root and Mary Leonard. She married Daniel Hubbard on Dec. 2, 1736 in Westfield, Ma. They moved to Pittsfield at some point after the birth of their son James in 1744.
Naomi died in Pittfield in 1800, leaving behind her son and at least one granddaughter. She is now buried in the North Border Section of the Pittsfield Cemetery with her husband who passed away in 1777. This part of the cemetery holds the graves that were moved here from several small, older cemeteries.
