Laura Abney Ferguson, age 52 of North Bend Road, Stanton, Kentucky, passed away at her residence, Thursday, February 21, 2013.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Jason Brewer (Lee Ann) of Frankfort; two daughters: Stacy Banks (Mark) of Stanton and Jessica Maggard of Clay City; five grandchildren; four brothers: Wayne Abney of Clay City, Ray Abney of Frenchburg, Gary Abney of Jeffersonville and
Tony Abney of Stanton; and one sister, Janet Townsend of Clay City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Elsie Patrick Abney, and two sisters: Barbara Robertson and Charlene Bailey.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24th at the Ware-Puckett Cemetery at Hardwick's Creek.
In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
Grayson Funeral Home of Clay City was in charge of services.
