Mrs. Josie Croom, 81, Caraway, died at her home Tuesday afternoon at 5:25. Death was attributed to complications. She was born in Cross county, and was for many years a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving were 2 sons, four sisters, four brothers, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.

Josie was married to Daniel B. Colbert (1885), George W. Johnson (1900), H.O Markham or Marcum (1904), finally Cyrus Croom (1917)
