Daughter of the late Eli Reid and Hannah Brendle Melton and member of the First Baptist Church of Landrum, SC. Survivors included: one daughter; one sister; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was 82 years of age at demise and interment was in the Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
