Frederick H, Heitman
Frederick H, Heitmann, who died last week in his home, 136 Wickliffe street, was for twenty years traffic manager of the United States Express Company's local office, and during a like length of time held a similar position with the Whitehead & Hoag Company. He was the recording secretary of Court Royal Blue, Independent Order of Foresters, and chairman of the joint excursion committee of the affiliated courts of that order. Mr. Heitmann was also active in the work of preparing for Newark's celebration. Born in Elizabeth forty-nine years ago, he came to this city as a resident when he was 28 years old. In August, 1891, he married Miss Margaret [Margurite] Kearney, of Newark. Besides his widow, Mr. Heitmann leaves two sons, Frederick and Joseph, the latter of whom is a student in St. Benedict's College; three sisters, Mrs. Leo Schuster [Shuster], of Roselle Park; Mrs. George French, of Bloomfield, and Mrs. George Pitney of this city, formerly of New York, and a brother Joseph C. Heitmann, of Tacoma, Wash.
