He was born in Brooklyn, NY, but lived most of his life in Franklin, NJ. He married Linda Kopsco, who survives, along with sons Jeffrey and Erik and daughter Julie.He served his community as a volunteer fire fighter, and his country in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970, doing a tour as a member of the Air Force Honor Guard, where he was a pallbearer for President Eisenhower. He also served at Preisent Nixon's inauguration.
