Darrell Gene Stockton, 63, of Monett passed away Monday April 15, 2013 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo. He was born October 25, 1949 in Monett, Mo, the son of the late Charles and Nancy (Williams) Stockton.
He was retired from Mid American Dairy in Monett and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Darrell is survived by one daughter: Amanda Breen, Linn, Mass; two brothers: Gary Stockton, La Russell, Mo., and Butch Stockton, Mt. Vernon, Mo.; seven sisters: Alice Patton, Monett, Kaye Lester, Mt. Vernon, Valerie Marshall, Monett, Debbie Sifferman, Mt. Vernon, Charlene Kristek, Verona, Connie Schmidt, Mt. Vernon, and Tracy Williams, Milton, WI; and four grandchildren: Liam, Corin, Tobias, and Jeremy.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Spellman and Joyce Brown.
Visitation for Darrell is being held Thursday April 18, 2013 from 6p to 8p at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Mo. Graveside services will be held Friday April 19, 2013 at 10a at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.
Memorial donations for Darrell may be given to the Missouri Veteran's Home in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
Arrangements are under the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO.
