Ernestine M. Kreiser, 76, Jonestown, died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at her home. She was the wife of Richard N. Kreiser, with whom she celebrated a 58th wedding anniversary on Feb. 28. Born Dec. 18, 1928, in Union Township, she was a daughter of the late David and Maggie Wolfe Kohr. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Chapel, United Church of Christ. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons Larry N. Kreiser of Jonestown and Steven R., husband of Lisa Kreiser of Pine Grove; daughters Linda M., wife of Elvin Mease of Jonestown, Delores M., wife of Marvin Furlong Sr. of Glenmore, Nancy A., wife of Carl Read of Annville, and Alice I., wife of Edward Horney Sr. of Lebanon; sister Lugret, wife of Franklin Bohr of Jonestown; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Edward Ditzler, Calvin Kohr, and Samuel, Clarence and John Sterner, and sister Gertrude Light. Service Monday at Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, Jonestown. Interment in Pleasant Hill Chapel Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
