George R. Faulkner, 81, 2002 N. Rocton Ave., died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 1965, in Americana Nursing Center after a long illness.

Born July 26, 1883, in Rockford, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Faukner. Lived all of his life in Rockford. Employed by Rockford Public Schools. He retired in 1954.

Survivors include: five sisters, Mrs. Etta O'Brien, Granada Hills, Calif., Mrs Frances Jones, Porterville, Calif., Mrs. Eva Thompson, Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Olson and Miss Clara Faulkner, both of Rockford; three borthers, William, Arthur, and Oliver, all of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews.
