Wife of Dayton and mother of Janis and Faye. Maxine Willison died on March 26 at the age of 91. She was born October 5, 1920 in Hutchinson, KS and has resided in Whatcom Co. since 1923. She was the 1st class to graduate from the newly built B.H.S in 1939. After owning the Custer Tavern in the early forties, she and her husband moved on to farming in Everson. Upon moving back to Bellingham in the late sixties, she eventually became the Director of her own state re-hab agency called "Alcohol Outreach", still known as "Dry Dock" for many years. After retiring, she continued her love of art and writing poetry.
