Charles Reid Bland, 67, of Chesnee, SC, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
A native of Ellenboro, NC, he was the husband of Sarah (Bell) Bland and a son of the late Claude and Mary (Lawson) Bland.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Helen Gardner of Chesnee, Barbara West and Ann Easler of Cowpens; four sons, Barry Bland of Spartanburg, Wayne Bland of Birmingham, AL, and Donnie Bland and Jimmy Bland of the home; and nine grandchildren.
The family received friends 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 at Chesnee Wesleyan Church.
Funeral services were held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 at the church, conducted by the Revs. Dan L. Belcher and Todd Gossett. Burial followed in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
