BERTHA POPP

Mrs. Bertha Popp, 75, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was a patient three days.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Creek. The Rev. Ronald Kirk, O. Praem, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Popp, the former Bertha Holzer, was born July 18, 1893(sic), in the Town of Schleswig, daughter of the late John and Bertha Bielie Holzer, and was married to John Popp in 1913. The couple lived in Rt. 4, Manitowoc, where it
farmed. He died Dec. 18, 1954. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. William Strouf, Mrs. Merle Schwalbe and Mrs. Reuben Glaeser of Manitowoc, two sons, Delmar of Manitowoc and Lloyd of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, two brothers, Frank and Peter of Milwaukee, three sisters,
Mrs. John Haker of Chilton, Mrs. Melvin Lounsbrough of Milwaukee and Mrs. Maurice LeBare of St. Paul, Minn., 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Three sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by Daughters of Isabella, Catholic Woman�s Club and Christian Mothers.
