David E. Casteel of Huntsville passed away on Tuesday. He was 62.
Mr. Casteel, a native of Madison County, was the former owner and operator of Casteel Wrecker Service. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Janie Casteel; and great-granddaughter, Katie Clemons.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Casteel; daughter, Lisa Parton; three sons, Michael Casteel, John Casteel and Justin Casteel, all of Huntsville; two brothers, Ernest Casteel of Meridianville, and Charles Casteel of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Misty Clemons and Chasity Casteel; and great-grandson, Wesley Clemons.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Berryhill Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Eads officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
