Services for Adelia Crisp Hardrick, 64, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the Lyons Chapel Baptist Church, MLK and 24th. Burial will be in the Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Griffin Mortuary of Lubbock. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin Mortuary, 1715 East Broadway.

Adelia passed away at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004. She was born Sept. 18 1940 in San Antonio. Adelia was a mother, sister, friend, and a true woman of God, who followed in the footsteps of her father, world-renowned, Elder Charles Beck, pastor, evangelist and musician. Adelia was an ordained minister, evangelist, and musician, who contributed her ministry in helping others.

She was closely involved in starting new church ministries, including her very own "My Father's House". She devoted her time to the surrounding community, establishing park ministries and tent revivals. Her ministry work also took her across the country to Alaska, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, etc.

She has left a legacy for her family to follow, and even though she will be missed, her life will still carry on through the people she has touched. Those left to mourn her passing include a son and three daughters, Timothy Beck, Patricia Davis, Valerie Simmons, all of Lubbock, Charlesetta Bailey of Covington, Ga.; four sisters; two brothers; 14 grandchildren children; and 22 great-grandchildren.
