Stella V. Kessler, formerly of Spring Grove, RD 5, died of natural causes at 1:35p.m., Saturday, August 10, 1991, at the Brethren Home at Cross Keys.
She was 91, Mrs. Kessler and her late husband were lifelong farmers, operating a chicken farm on Myers Road, Spring Grove, RD 5. She was a member of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ, Spring Groove, RD 5.
Born in North Codorus Township, she was a daughter of the late A. Charles and Jennetta Luckenbaugh Senft. She was the wife of the late Ivan E. Kessler. She leaves two sons, Ivan C. Kessler and Clair W. Kessler, both of Spring Grove, RD 5; three daughters, Ruth L. Stambaugh and Florence M. Fleming, both of Spring Grove, RD 5; and Maryann Beaver, Spring Grove; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing is to be 1 to 2p.m., tomorrow, at Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. The service is scheduled to begin at 2p.m., tomorrow, at the funeral home, with her pastor, the Rev. Charles A. Smith, officiating.
Burial is to be in St. Peter's (Lischey's) Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ, PO Box 152, Spring Grove, Pa.,17362.
