Morning Sun -- Only a few hours after he had attended the last rites of his uncle, Walker Morrison, 52 year old Robert Emmet Morrison followed his kinsman in death. He had been in precarious health for a long time, and several months ago resigned as manager of the local Benteco store on account of his health. More recently, he had been employed as automobile salesman by White Implement company. With the exception of a fried perios spent in Spokane, Wash., Morrison was a life resident of Morning Sun. He was born June 4, 1896, the son of John Moody and Sarah Delong Morrison and was a veteran of the First World war. In 1920 Morison was married to Lela Beck. She survives, as do a son, Robert Joe, at home and a daughter, Mrs. Stephen Garland, Burlington. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. C. A. Brown, Morning Sun, and 2 grandchildren. A daughter, Betty Mae Morrison is dead. Last rites will be held at the First Presbyterian church March 6, at 2 p.m. Rev. O. L. Byrns will have charge, and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
