Born October 2, 1955, in Spartanburg, she was the wife of Toler Eugene Parker, Sr. of the home and the daughter of William H. and Catherine Jo "Kay" (Daly) Hensley of Spartanburg.
A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, she attended the University of South Carolina and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are a son, Tee Parker of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, Malcolm Hensley and his wife Joanne of El Segundo, CA, William Joseph Hensley and his wife Tammi, and Stephen Daly Hensley, all of Spartanburg; her mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Marvalee Parker of Conway; four nieces; three nephews; and Godmother to Will M. Hensley.
Visitation was 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Cryptside services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by Deacon Robert L. Mahaffey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Health Sciences Foundation, Heart Vascular, 18 Bee Street, P.O. Box 250450, Charleston, SC 29425; or to Hospice Care of SC, 11211 W. O. Ezell Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
