UNION CITY, Ind.--Services for Paul Arthur, 76, will be at 2:30 p.m. (Indiana time) Monday in Fraze-Brooks & Davis Funeral Home, with Pastor Karl Klostermier officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Indiana time) today. An Elks Lodge service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mr. Arthur died Friday morning in the family home, 826 W. Division St., after a brief illness. He was born in Randolph County and retired in 1974 from Union City Body Co.
Mr. Arthur was a member of Elks Lodge 1534 and Eagles Lodge 2790, both of Union City.
Surviving are his wife, Neva H. Bragg Arthur; three daughters, Mabel (Mrs. William) Baker, Sherwood, Ohio, Judy Campbell, Coldwater, Ohio, and Rita (Mrs. Steve) Mong, Union City; six brothers, Glen and Noel Arthur, both of Lynn, Ralph Arthur, Farmland, Lloyd Arthur, Sacramento, Calif., Basil Arthur, Winchester, and Stanley Arthur, Union City; two sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Vernie) Moore, Lynn, and Doris (Mrs. Clyde) Lake, Lexington, Ky.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Raymond Arthur, died in 1940, and a daughter, Martha, died in 1979.
