LUBBOCK - Funeral services for Rev. C.A. Norcross, 78, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Agape United Methodist Church here. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.


Rev. Norcross died Tuesday in the University Convalescent Center in Lubbock. He was born Feb. 27. 1895 in Cook County. He moved to Lubbock from Clarendon in 1924. Norcross, a graduate of Southern Methodist University, had pastored several churches in the South Plains. He is survived by his' wife Myrtle; two sons. Lt. Col. John Norcross of Washington, D.C. and James W. Norcross of Decatur, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Satira Miller of Midland and Mrs. Bertie Hanson of Commerce; and nine grandchildren.
