Jim George, age 71, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday morning, April 12, 2013 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. He was born March 16, 1942, in Cumberland, Kentucky, the son of the late Charlie Albert and Lillie Mae (Blair) George. He was a member of the Hillsboro House of Worship. On February 14, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he married his wife of forty-nine years, Barbara Hartley (Nichols) George, and she survives. He is also survived by four children; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Randy Hamilton will officiate. Burial in the Resthaven Memory Gardens will be Monday at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m until the time of the service at 5:30 on Saturday at the funeral home.
