Celina was born October 17, 1936, in La Loma, New Mexico to Roman Gonzales and Luganita Romero. She enjoyed crocheting doylies, painting, and watching classic movies. Celina worked for the City of Clovis and she was a beloved member of the Senior Center.
Celina is survived by; Mary Ann Gonzales (Johnny), Roman Chavez, Anthony Chavez, Angela Lopez (Randy), Vivian Bond (Robert), Edwin "Dino' Chavez, Jeffery Chavez, her sisters; Hope Rodriguez (Carlos), and Louisa Martinez, numerous nieces, and nephews, 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: Horacio Chavez her husband of 52 years, Mark Lopez, Timmy Gonzales, Amy Alexander, and Lee Bond.
