Warren G. Miller, 56, of 2497 Fisher Road NE, died Saturday, February 18, 1978 in Susanville, Calif., while returning home from a trip.
He was born in Elsie, Nebraska, and came to Salem in 1936. He was a salesman with Salem Steel and Supply Co. for more than 28 years. An Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion, the Salem Elks and the Market Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Cora J. (Corki), sons, James G. and David W., both of Salem; daughter, Vicki L. Miller, Salem; father, Ross G. Miller, Salem; and sisters, Gerry Hoffert, Salem, Estalene I. Myers, Nampa, Idaho, and Violet Rawlins, Ventura, Calif.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Howell-Edward-Doerksen Mortuary, and interment in Belcrest Memorial Park. The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
The family suggests contributions to the Diabetes Association, 3609 SW Corbett St., Portland, Ore. 97201.

Warren was the third of six children born to Ross Garnett & Ethel "Mae" Terry Miller. He was married June 15, 1946 in Salem, OR to Cora Jean Morgenstern. To this union were born three children: James Garnett, Vicki Lynn & David Warren.
