county, Illinois, the daughter of Isaac
and Abigail Smith She departed this
life on June 14, 1977, at the age of 72
years, four months, and three days.
Fleeta attended schools in the area
of Bismarck, Ill. After graduation
from high school she migrated to
Spencer where she resided for some
time. Later she moved to Heron Lake,
Minn.
On Jan 3, 1931, Fleeta was united in
marriage to Oscar W Larsen. The
Larsens were engaged in farming all
their married life residing in the
Milford, Alta, Truesdale, and
Rembrandt communities.
Two sons and three daughters were
born to the Larsens, all of whom
survive.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, two sisters, and one brother
Mrs. Larsen received Jesus Christ
as her personal Saviour as a young
lady in a Nazarene church in State
Line, Ind. She and her husband
became some of the early members of
the Truesdale Assembly of God. She
regularly attended services including
the Sunday morning and evening
preceding her death.
Mrs. Larsen served for a number of
years as a Sunday school teacher and
also as a member of the Assembly
She was a faithful and loving wife,
mother, and grandmother, who taught
her children to love the Lord and live
for Him. She will be greatly missed by
her family and many friends.
