Funeral services for Sally Ann Cockerham Flowers, age 70, of Tullos, will held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Zion Baptist Church in Georgetown with Bro. Scott Tilton and Bro. Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday starting at 11:00 AM and will be open until service time Thursday at the church.
Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
Sally was born October 30, 1942 to Earlis "Jack" and Bertie Sally Cockerham in Buna, TX and she passed from this life on April 8, 2013 at her residence.
She was a self employed secretary for twenty five years in the family oil and gas industry. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Georgetown. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, and ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: James "Bo" Earlis Cockerham.
Survivors include her husband of thirty eight years: Russell Flowers, Sr. of Tullos; three sons: Richard "Rick" Atwell and his wife Judy of Metairie; Ray Atwell and his wife Teresa Kay of Olla; Russell Flowers, Jr. of Monroe; two daughters: Sheila Ann Randall and her husband Darrel of Summerville; Carolyn Lee Coates and her husband Ernest Lee of Monterey; brother: Troy Lamar Cockerham and his wife Jeana Marie of Tullos.
Pallbearers will be Danny Ferguson, Scott Cockerham, Willie Howell, Terry Lincecum, Darrel Randall, and Nathan Perot.
