A new gravestone for Revolutionary War soldier Henry Waggoner Jr., a private in Doak's Company of the Virginia Militia, was dedicated at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the Wagoner Cemetery near Silverville, Lawrence County, Indiana.

Waggoner fought in several Revolutionary War battles and was wounded at Germantown.
After the war, his family moved west to Indiana, settling on the banks of Indian Creek near Silverville.
