Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Willcutt, Youth Minister for Grawood Baptist church, Keithville, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Nell loved flowers and gardening and took much joy in creating the many quilts that she made for family members. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She goes to be with her parents and ten brothers and sisters who have gone before her. Those that she leaves behind are husband, Raymond McWaters; daughter, Linda; sons, Michael, Patrick, and Mark; and eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the SouthernCare Hospice staff for all of their compassion and care.
While Nell dearly loved growing flowers, she requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society
